NorthCrest Leaders Recognized by Tennessee Hospital Association

THA MeetingSpringfield, TN (October 23, 2018) – The Tennessee Hospital Association’s (THA) 80th Annual Meeting was a memorable event for two NorthCrest Medical Center leaders – Kim Pridgen, CFO, and Teresa Nixon, RN. Both Kim and Teresa were awarded Meritorious Service Awards recognizing their leadership and service to NorthCrest.

“This well-deserved recognition, from their peers and THA, further demonstrates the high level of skill, compassion, and commitment I am able to witness daily from these amazing people,” said Randy Davis, NorthCrest President and CEO.

Kim Pridgen, vice president and chief financial officer, was recognized in the Senior Executives category. The award recognizes Kim for successfully turning around the hospital’s declining financial status and helping two other small hospitals improve financial operations and remain open, all while fostering a culture where every employee understands their role in service and patient care. Kim has served as NorthCrest’s CFO since 2014.

Teresa Nixon, RN, received a Clinical Nurse of Distinction award for her dedication in caring for medical-surgical patients and educating and mentoring more than 75 new nurses over her 36-year career, including nursing clinical groups, high school students and nursing externs. Teresa serves as the lead surgical nurse.

In total, 26 Tennessee hospital leaders were recognized at THA’s Annual Meeting. NorthCrest is proud of Kim and Teresa and appreciative of their dedication to our organization, community, and patients.
