SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (June 13, 2007) – NorthCrest Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of Shana Dowell, M.D. to the NorthCrest Medical Staff. Dowell specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
“She will be a great asset to the community and our facility,” stated Scott Raynes, President and CEO of NorthCrest Medical Center. “The addition of Dr. Dowell helps us continue on our mission of providing community wellness.”
Dowell will be joining the Center for Women’s Health and practicing with Randall Jack, M.D. The Center for Women’s Health is located at 212 NorthCrest Drive. They can be contacted by phone at (615) 384-4496.

She brings with her a strong academic background with a special interest in vulvar disease. Her addition allows the Center for Women’s Health to expand office services throughout Robertson County, including the Springfield, White House and Pleasant View areas.”
Dowell joins NorthCrest and The Center for Women’s Health from New York, where she received her bachelor degree from Columbia University and her medical degree from the University of Rochester. Dowell completed her internship program at the University of Rochester and completed her residency program at Columbia University, both in OB/GYN.
