The volunteers at NorthCrest Medical Center are a vital part of what we do – serving our patients and visitors. The NorthCrest Volunteers are a dedicated group of men and women who share their time, talents, and skills in support of the clinical and clerical areas of the hospital. We rely on our volunteers to run the Grapevine Gift Shop, escort patients and visitors, greet visitors and provide information, and assist families and friends during a potentially difficult time of their lives.
The Volunteer Auxiliary is a program for retired and/or mature individuals who are seeking long-term volunteer experience. We require 100+ hours of service annually. If you are a student looking for community service hours for school, or student hospital volunteer experience, please look into our SHIP (Student Health Internship Program) or our Camper Program. More information about these programs (held during summer break) can be found on our website under the “Careers” Tab.
In 2018, our volunteers spent a total of 15,859 hours serving at NorthCrest – without them, we don’t know what we would do! If you’re interested in becoming a NorthCrest Volunteer, we invite you to learn more and fill out an application.
