Requirements:
 Masters Degree in Nursing composing twelve to twenty-four months of specialized classroom and experiential learning as a nurse practitioner.
 A minimum of one year related clinical experience
 Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of acute and chronic patient/family problems.
 Current licensure as required by the State of Tennessee to practice as a Nurse Practitioner – Certification (or eligibility to sit for certification exam) by an accepted professional national organization as a Family Nurse Practitioner is required. Completion of the certification should be completed within 6 months of employment as a nurse practitioner.
 Substantial interpersonal skills necessary to instruct patients and their families and to collaborate with health team members.
 Strong customer relations skills required.
