Clinical Educator – Med Surg

Requirements:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of
 patients served.
 Promotes customer service initiative.
 Coordinates BLS programs.
 Performs as a consultant on policies and procedures.
 Instructor BLS, PALS and ACLS
 Designing, coordinating and implementing a variety of in-services and/or classes
 Ensures compliance of all AHA Training Center administrative guidelines when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Current RN License
 Current BLS, PALS, & ACLS completion card
 BLS, ACLS & PALS Instructor required & NRP Instructor preferred
 Appropriate interpersonal/communication skills
 Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required
 Understands adult learning principles and experience in educational design and teaching

 Operates and maintains shuttle cart
 Assists patients and visitors with transportation needs
