WorkSafe provides comprehensive occupational medicine services to employers in the Springfield, Tennessee service area.

What is occupational medicine?
Occupational medicine is the science of anticipating, preventing, and treating injuries that occur in the workplace. Workplace injuries may be caused by accidents requiring immediate attention or chronic disorders that develop over time and diminish productivity. Additionally, our program strives to assist employers in providing a healthy and safe workplace.

Services:

Work Injury:
Our goal is to offer comprehensive, quality care in an effort to return your employee to the workplace. We make every effort to avoid costly lost work time. That is why WorkSafe offers around the clock care without appointments and follow-up communication to the employer.

For minor to moderate injuries and a variety of screenings we offer the convenience of The NorthCrest Care Center.

The Care Center at NorthCrest is located in the upper level of the 400 building. You will find the extended hours and 7 day a week service very beneficial to meeting your needs. Hours are: Monday - Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

At The Care Center you will find caring, qualified staff that can provide:

• Injury Treatment — with coordination to a specialist if needed
• Drug Screening
• Breath Alcohol Testing
• Audiometry
• Spirometry
• Respirator Mask Fit Testing
• TB Skin Testing
• Pre-employment and DOT Physicals

For life threatening injuries or after hours we offer the Emergency Department at NorthCrest Medical Center. The new 25,000 square foot state of the art facility is ready for any emergency that comes their way. WorkSafe will provide follow-up care for your employee at the Care Center.

• General Pre Placement Physicals

Immunization Programs:
Immunizations are offered to assist you in meeting requirements or as an employee benefit. Some of the available immunizations are:

• Flu Shots
• Hepatitis B
• Tetanus Shot

We offer many of our screening programs and immunizations on-site at your workplace to further help you reduce the time your employee is off the job.

Education and Wellness Programs:
