The operating suites, the endoscopy suite and the post anesthesia care unit (PACU) are located on the first floor of the medical center.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. A team is on call at all times for emergencies.

The family waiting room is located on the first floor immediately adjacent to the surgical department.

If an operation is scheduled as an elective procedure, the patient usually comes in to the medical center on the day of surgery to the Same Day Surgery Department, which is also located on the first floor.
