Medical Surgical and Pediatric Services

Medical Surgical Services at NorthCrest are provided on three units, a 29 bed adult unit, a six bed progressive care unit on the third floor and a 29 bed unit on the second floor which has five beds set aside for the hospitalization of children.

These units operate 24 hours a day seven days a week. The staffing is principally registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.

The rooms are private.

Visiting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. If a family member wishes to stay later, a visitor's pass can be obtained from the nursing staff. If a family member wishes to arrive to visit after visiting hours, access to the medical center is through the Emergency Department entrance. The visitor will be asked to sign in and be given a visitor's pass. This procedure is for the safety of our patients and families.
