Medical Laboratory

The Medical Laboratory at NorthCrest Medical Center is open 24 hours a day. More than 150,000 tests are performed each year in the lab in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology and Blood Bank.

The lab maintains accreditation with the College of American Pathologists.

The medical laboratory is located on the first floor near the visitor entrance.

If you are having lab tests as an outpatient, remember that some lab tests require that you fast for a number of hours beforehand. Please ask your physician.

You will need your insurance cards when you register.

It is very important that you bring the written physician order with you. This assures that the correct test will be done and that your insurance can be billed.

Your physician will be notified of your test results.
