What is a HeartView?
Hardening or “calcified” plaque inside the arteries of the heart is an early warning signal of heart disease. The HeartView utilizes a CT Scan to detect and measure the calcified plaque in the heart arteries. The HeartView uses state-of-the-art, multi-slice technology to produce clear images of the beating heart. The HeartView’s customized software allows the computer to construct a three-dimensional (3D) picture of the heart, which the cardiologist can view from any angle.

What do I have to do?
There are no special preparations for the test.
You can even eat before your appointment!
There are no needles, no dyes. You remain fully clothed. The test takes about 10 minutes.
The HeartView has an open design—you are not in an enclosed space.
Then, you just call your doctor for the results.
